Hurricane-alpha Tempest

Hurricane-alpha proudly introduces our newest addition the Tempest.

The largest of our knives with more of a traditional western cooks knife feel. you will instantly fall in love with the beautiful blade pattern. It has a high carbon core that is clad with 66 layers of 420 stainless steel. there is an intuitive feel about the smooth olive wood handle. A truly stunning knife that could be a real centre piece in your collection.

 

Ideal for cutting protein such as meat or fish and slicing, dicing and chopping vegetables and fruit. please use on wood or high density chopping boards and avoid cutting bone and frozen produce.

To keep your high carbon knife razor sharp and in perfect condition we would always recommend whetstone sharpening on a regular basis and ensuring that your knife is hand washed and thoroughly dried after every use.

Wow what a knife

Bought the pastry knife a month or so ago now and was amazed at the quality of the blade soon went back and purchased the HURRICANE-ALPHA Tempest and another pastry knife to gift to one of my commis chefs fantastic bit of kit will be back for more 10/10

Outstanding craftsmanship

Its a knife but...its also an absolute thing of beauty well balanced, good weight, sharp and forged to a height standard. Like that you can see the layers. Well done Hurricane Alpha one happy customer

Great knife!

Not only is it a work of art it’s balance and blade is the best I’ve used. I have been in the food and hospitality industry for 20 plus years and all my knives will now be Hurricane Alpha’s!

Tempest-uous

The knife is a good weight and reasonably well balanced and the looks are amazing.
The blade itself however is not as hard and sharp as I would have liked and I have resharpened many times but it won’t keep an edge for long.
